Justice League Trailer Released

For the past two days, we have been covering the release of the Justice League teasers. Brief clips of each superhero (Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg) were released a few hours apart in an attempt to build anticipation for the superhero mashup. For anyone keeping tabs on the film, the new trailer has now officially been released.

Once again, DC Comics has done a good job on a trailer. No one can fault them for getting hype for their movies. Though, we’ve been burned in the past by both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. In seeing the full trailer, the heroes are obviously the spotlight and there’s actually some decent chemistry between them. Obviously, their interactions are brief but the banter between Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Ben Affleck’s Batman are more fun than anything we’ve seen from the DC Extended Universe thus far.

There are still eight months to go before the film comes out but it’s somewhat suspicious that the main villain of Justice League has yet to be spotlighted. In the Batman teaser, we got a glimpse of a parademon which would seem to signal the appearance of Darkseid. Yet, it has been said that Steppenwolf, Darkseid’s uncle, will be the villain. Steppenwolf was also included in a brief scene in the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman.

Even with DC’s past failures on the big screen, there’s no doubt that Justice League will make money. Uniting a team of heroes in this day and age has proven to be a success and this film will be no different. As we’ve said many times before, DC has a lot of ground to make up in their universe but both Wonder Woman in June and Justice League in November could go a long way in reestablishing some much needed good faith.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17th. Check out the trailer and comment below.
